Tesla Mannequin 3 and Mannequin Y remembers deal with seat belt points

WASHINGTON — Tesla is issuing two new recalls to deal with seat belt points, it stated on Thursday.

One recall covers 5,530 autos, comprising 2018-2020 Model 3 and 2019-2021 Model Y vehicles, as a result of fasteners that safe the entrance seat shoulder belt to the b-pillar will not be correctly hooked up. The opposite recall covers 2,166 Mannequin Y autos from 2019-2021 as a result of fasteners that safe the left and proper second-row seat belt retractors will not be correctly hooked up.

Tesla informed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration it was not conscious of any crashes or accidents referring to the remembers.

Tesla will examine and, if needed, change the fasteners to verify that they’re secured to the right specification.
