At Urbane Apartments, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. But we do take feedback seriously. That’s why we created Urbane Talk.

This is the one place where you’ll find almost everything our residents and others are saying about Urbane … both good and bad. We think we’ve got a good thing going here, and we think you’ll love the Urbane Life. But we also know we’re not perfect, and there are lots of things we can do to get better.

We put both sides of the conversation on this one site to try to give you as much of the complete picture as possible. The reviews and comments might come from Facebook, from Apartment Ratings or from Yelp, but they’re all real and unedited … we’ve even provided the original links in case you still don’t believe us.

    Basement Flooding. I live at Urbane on 13 Mile in Royal Oak. I will say that most of the time maintenance crews respond. However, this is an old building with old problems and it is fairly evident that the owners of this property are only interested in quick fixes. Currently, the laundry tub overflows onto the floor–this results in several inches of standing water surrounding the washer and dryer. I don’t think it is a good idea to stand in water while operating a washer of dryer. So, now I have to take my laundry out. I have complained about this several times and gotten absolutely no response. So, if considering moving to Urbane, realize you are moving into an old building that will have plumbing and other issues that the owners will not address properly because they do not what to spend money on maintaining these buildings properly.

    Am i able to just say such a relief to find another kid that actually knows what theyre writing about using the net. You definitely realize how to bring a worry to light and then make it important. Is now a ought to see this and figure this out side within the story. I cant believe youre less popular because you definitely develop the gift.

    URBANE EMPLOYEES PEOPLE THAT WILL BLATANTLY CALL AN AFRICAN AMERICAN A “NIGGER”. IT’S 2011 AND IT’S SAD THAT PEOPLE STILL ACT THIS WAY. JUST SAD. I GUESS THAT’S WHY WE HAVE TO HAVE “CIVIL RIGHTS”!

    HONESTLY THOSE APARTMENTS THAT URBANE RENTS ARE JUST SLUMS IN THE SUBURBS! BE CAREFUL!
