Heather,

I’m sorry this has taken me so long to send you this review. I’ve been so busy with school and work I just haven’t had the time to complete this.

I don’t think that I could say enough positive things about the model housing option. All of my family members live out of state. This option has been so convenient for both me and them. Not only can they stay at a location close to me, but they have the convince of bringing their pets along with them. It has really made a differences in their comfort when they come to the area to visit. I’m really grateful that Urbane Apartments offers this to their residents. Thanks again! Hannah

Landlords and Residents Talk

From @EasyTurbo

I’ve lived in cheap, expensive, luxurious, and run-of-the-mill type apartments, and the one thing I have always loved about Urbane is the continued effort to stay connected with your residence, whether it’s via Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Blogs, Community forums, or just a wave hello.

When the Landlords and residents come together, it not only brings enlightenment to both camps, but it creates a small scale of deeper accountability.

If I’ve never seen the face, or heard the words of the person who is renting me my space, there’s a complete disconnect and a complete disregard. Would you return a borrwed item to your best friend in the same condition you’d return that borrowed item to a store?

This idea not only allows for a more productive relationship between both parties, but it allows both parties to feel even more involved in their community as a team, not as one lone individual.

Urbane: You really have set the bar.

Hi Kelly,  I’ll put in a service request.  I don’t know what we can do about the stove top. We’ll see what we can do about the other items.  The attached checklist should be completed and sent back within the next week.

Hi Kim,
Okay…I went and checked out the apt. and it looks great, but I have just a few concerns….the stove is not stable…like it moves very easily…like a piece of the leg on the bottom is missing…also, I don’t know if you all have a check list of things you notice when moving in, but the stove top is all scratched and gauged up.  Also, the dishwasher is kind of gross on the bottom (stained/gray/brown and in the cupboards the shelves are falling.  Those are just a few things I noticed.  I know you all busted yourselves to get this apartment ready and I do appreciate it, but I just wanted you all to be aware of the things I noticed when I went in today.

Thanks,

Kelly Beke
